The Back Story
“I feel like my Soul is dying.”
The words I spontaneously uttered to a small gathering of women friends stunned me and rang unnervingly true. I felt the walls bend. I felt pinned by the stark naked truth of my statement.
The Myth of Inspiration
A student lamented to me “I’m not very creative, I don’t have any idea of what to do.” Another student feeling rather blah wondered where’s her mojo and admitted she doesn’t feel motivated to create without it.
Scribble Away Stress
Scribbling? Yes, scribbling. Give any young child a pen/crayon/pencil and they instinctively and unselfconsciously begin to make marks. They scribble.
