Later life is remarkable territory—rich with hard-won wisdom, complicated by real losses, and still unfolding in ways that can surprise us. Over eight weeks, we will use visual art-making and creative writing as a compass for that terrain.

Each session holds space for the full complexity of where you are: the grief alongside the freedom, the loss alongside the wisdom. Drawing, painting, collage, and reflective writing are our tools. No artistic experience is needed—only a willingness to look honestly at where you are and make something of it.

This is Annie’s most depth-oriented group offering, and this fall marks its inaugural run—limited to just 7 people in her San Rafael studio.

Art Dates are sanctioned times for YOU to enjoy some time in my spacious light-filled studio alongside the camaraderie of others. Enjoy minimal distractions and the space to create your art.
